Summary: Olberding Environmental provided environmental services related to the expansion of Genentech’s San Francisco research and development campus onto adjacent undeveloped properties adjacent to the shoreline of San Francisco Bay.
Services Provided: Biological Surveys, Section 404 Clean Water Act Jurisdictional Delineation, and Environmental Permitting.
Edgewater Business Park

Location: Richmond, California
Summary: The Edgewater Business Park project included a 500,000 square foot commercial office complex and associated infrastructure positioned along the shoreline of San Pablo Bay. The development site consisted of approximately 240 acres of undeveloped land containing grasslands, riparian, tidal marsh, seasonal wetlands, and habitat for several federally and state-listed species. Due to the unique location within the greater San Francisco Bay marsh ecosystem, a 200-acre wetland and species mitigation bank was also incorporated into the overall development process.
